A Life Like Mine

My path is winding, steep, and long,
A journey sung in a quiet song.
With every step, I’ve come to see,
There’s beauty in a life like me.

These hands may tremble, this body may tire,
Yet my soul burns bright with endless fire.
For though I face what others don’t,
I rise each day; I will, I won’t.

I won’t let shadows dim my light,
I’ll greet each morning with all my might.
For every breath’s a gift divine,
A miracle in a life like mine.

My mind may wander where words can’t go,
But there’s so much more than they could know.
I feel the truth in hearts that care,
In kindness shown through love laid bare.

I pray for those whose hearts are true,
Who see the world from a broader view.
They lift me up; they help me stand,
With open hearts and steady hands.

And though my challenges never cease,
I find in gratitude my peace.
For every star that lights the sky,
Reminds me why I live, not yet goodbye.

So here I am, a soul set free,
Alive with hope and dignity.
A life like mine is rich and rare,
With love to give and joy to share.
